Sunday Night Blogging - Now With More Wine!

Holy smokes! A month? It's been a month (more) since I last posted? Did you think I had died from old age? Damn... well, let's just wrap up the last four weeks with the following statement: August: it was fun!

Seriously, Hawaii is always good... mai tais are good and the surfing of the children was good and the family visiting was good and the bon dancing was good and you know... good.

And now the children are back in school and by children I actually mean all 3 of my little darlings are in school... which means this is the year I have been whining about for months and hello! My FUTURE! It has arrived... what to do? Well, I have a plan and it's a good one and I think you will all like it and the plan is to have things a-rollin', like Old Man River, by next July.

Let's hear it for plans, shall we?!

Um, and also for Facebook... because, hello. Link! I don't post here because I can one-sentance over there and don't even get me talking about Twitter because I think it's important I actually maintain some sort of life... so, yeah, poke me on Facebook.

Why does that sound so naughty?

But do you know what you missed by not being on Facebook? The fact that my 6th grader has his very first dance next month and he and I had to sign a "contract" (promise? pledge?) that he will not "freak" dance and bless his heart, neither he nor any of his friends, know what freak dancing is and there is some concern amongst his crowd of "accidental" freaking and really, I had to break it to him that there was no way in hell a person could accidently freak dance... Hugh suggests we rent "Breaking 2 - Electric Boogalooo" but really that just dates us doesn't it? I think we need to get something a little more recent. Or, we can just tell him that as long as he isn't simulating sex with some girl on the dance floor, no worries... the freaking is not happening.

Jake would like me to point out that he is not in the least concerned with accidental freak dancing... it's all me, and I am, according to my eldest child, a big dork.

Also, why do the words, "Sarah Palin" make me want to gorge my eyes out with a dull spork? Stabby-like?

So, this date, what? The 7th. The 7th starts my own personal Nablomepo... whatever the hell that posting everyday acronym is... actually, let's start the 8th because it's late and so yeah, the 8th and lots of posting because I think I do have stuff to tell you...

I'm wrapping this up because I need to go and pour more wine pull uniforms from the dryer...

YAY! I was beginning to think you were still stewing about that whole MILF thing.

I'm glad you went to Hawaii instead, along with fighting off the urge to gouge your eyes out with a dull spork.

That was a good line.

Damn it! Now I have another blog that I have to read... LOL. (found you via Mrs. G's site and had to see who feels the same way about S.P. that I do). She is so annoyiing!! I hate her hair, I hate her voice, and I really hate that little smirk that she gets when she delivers a pre-written sarcastic line. Kill me now!
