Dear Mom,
I love you so much. You make me happy when I am sad and you work stuff out when I am mad. You love me. You have meaning and you are the best mom ever.
In my past life I must have saved a lot of drowning babies to deserve such love.I love you so much. You make me happy when I am sad and you work stuff out when I am mad. You love me. You have meaning and you are the best mom ever.
However, before you get too choked up, let me also give you this little gem:
My mom is funniest when she gets dressed because she wears funny clothes.
At first I was all "Funny Clothes! What?" and then I looked down and saw that I did indeed have on a black bra under a white tank top with a brown skirt, an orange hoodie and bronze flip flops and if your eyes aren't too busy burning with that mental image you can read on and realize, as did I, that the poor child simply didn't have a word for "tacky".

LOL!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHA- that is fucking beautiful. save that one FOREVER!
Now that's what I would call a "sweet & sour" card! Love it!
Was that two cards or one? Cause that's quite a switch in topic and tone. But I love both.
HA! Very sweet and VERY funny! Love it. Warm heart, humble attire. :)
I'd say you're a pretty hip mama with your orange hoodie and bronze flip flops.
My youngest daughter always asks me if I'm wearing my pajamas.
*hrumph*
Ha!
Sadly, what you're dressed in sounds way more trendy than anything in my closet.
You never look tacky...
He's just used to all the school moms with fake boobs and put together 'looks' for 7am...
And then there's Mrs Scooby -Doobie's look which is really a rule unto itself...
You are my stylin' friend...
I love how you dress! You have mastered the subtle art of Target skirt with Gucci sandals.
Oh, don't you love it when your kids have just enough knowledge to be dangerous?? Hehehe. My kids say stuff like that to me all the time too. I'm always like "THANKS honey, mommy loves you too!" Your card was very sweet though!!
Now if any post deserved an accompanying picture of you, this one does!
ROFL...funny but so cute!
Is that one of those fill-in-the-blank things they do at school for Mother's Day? My daughter totally humiliated me with one of those when she was 3.5!
LOL!!! Oh that was funny. Kids are nuts-- you've got to love them. They certainly don't hold any punches.
Least they didn't take a picture of it, did they? Mine decided Sunday, (after a very long weekend traveling and a quick nap) to break out the camera as they presented me with my homemade devil's food cake and cards. I just downloaded them. Good god...
Happy belated mom day!!
HA!HA! Kristen that is to cute.
My daughter once told me "Mom, you're prettier than all the other moms." I felt so complimented. I preened and kissed her and hugged her until...
"Except for sucha such's mom. She's prettier than you...and blah blah's mom, she's prettier than you too. OH! and Boo boo's mom, she's prettier than you too..."
What can you say to that?
I have no idea what a hoodie is, but if it matches in with the other stuff and is orange, it almost sounds like the colours of my wardrobe. So you need to teach your kids "Classy" not "Tacky", and phrases like "Built for comfort"... not style!
Izzy-
Yes! The first few pages were "complete the sentance" and the last page was the letter segment where he greatly redeemed himself.
It's good to know I am in such good company of HONEST children! :-)
awww lol. thats cute
Mega Mom,

Kristin, that is too funny! Kids, you gotta love em.
