Outed, And Therefore, Silent

Yes, the post from the wee hours of yesterday morning is gone baby gone. And we shall never speak of it again on this blog (and by "again" I mean, "this week") but I will tell you that I am encouraged and have stopped the nervous vomiting. We've done what we are supposed to and so far, no one is letting us down.

You know why we won't speak of it? Because of f*cking Facebook that's why. Because my Worlds Are Colliding and there are schoolish type folks on FB who are now reading this here blog which is exciting as far as page views go, but puts a bit of filter on what I am willing to share.

I'm not Dooce, folks. I am unwilling to let it all hang out.

But, for the 12 of you who either live on the east coast or who keep stupid insomniac hours, thank you for your comments and your emails and your willingness to share your own experiences with me.

Moving on (On the blog only. In real life I am living a continual loop of concern and nausea).

It's almost Thanksgiving which in our home means a trip to Catalina where the kids rule the roost and the adults pretend not to notice. It also kicks off the official start to 24 Christmas Tunes which Hugh will put up with until 12/26 when they must be stopped or he will unfortunatley have to leave me.

I am going to go now and slug down my 3rd cup of coffee and contemplate trying to keep down dry toast.

And post a link on FB.

I here you on the colliding. I was up early yesterday and read via bloglines but when I clicked it was gone. Sending good thoughts your way. Have a happy Thanksgiving

It was down before I could comment as well, but I fully understand the need for some privacy. I'm not dooce either!

Glad you are feeling more positive.

I figure there must be a reason you took it down so I didn't comment yesterday. I'm glad things are looking up though. Nervous vomiting=no fun.

Well, any vomiting equals no fun, but especially nervous vomiting.

Daniella - Right?! Eventually no one will have a past... we'll all just be living in present time on the Internet.

Anon - Thank you.

Van - You and me both.

Michelle - Definitely not fun.

I'm sorry about the collision of worlds.

I hope things get better soon.

oh great, now I'm going to have to start staying up all night just so that I don't miss anything.

I think you did the right thing by taking it down.

I'm glad it sounds like the right steps are being taken. Good thoughts.

Wait...huh? I missed something. But ok...hope everything's alright!

I missed it, but that's ok. As long as things are looking up you're way now -- have a great Thanksgiving.

I have never understood the bloggers who are comfortable airing all. My feeling about the internet is this: If you have any second thoughts, delete!

This is one reason why I still hesitate about Facebook. The other is that I KNOW I would get sucked in and I simply don't have the time for that.

But yeah, I am glad things are looking up. Sounds like it's under control. It'll be nice to have a little break next week, eh?

I'm sorry about both the worlds colliding and the issue in the last post.

I've had the same experience with Facebook - it is absolutely crazy, isn't it?

On a side note, I think Christmas has swallowed Thanksgiving ...

Oy, I am a bit confused.

I hope you guys have a blast in Catalina.

The more I read about Hugh, the more I like him.

Have a terrific Thanksgiving!

dude, glad you are ok. FB is evil. Am contemplating leaving FB and changing my name to Laura Lipshitsz in order to avoid having "too" many folks from my fun (yet wicked) past find me!

Jason, as himself said...

Okay, now I'm dying to know what this was all about.

I hate nervous vomiting!

Well, now - you've totally piqued my curiosity with THAT.
