Calling The Pot Black

Because it is! A black pot.

But, I now wish I had opted for a pot with some sort of detail or texture because what I am left with is a replica of the standard landscape pots plants arrive in... only without the chalky text telling you what it is and how much it cost.

So, pot is painted and Meyer Lemon mini-tree is re-potted but pot is blah so I am heading out today to find some of that drapey greenish ground cover... the type that will spill and thrill? And basically, it's a big pain, but if I tell you that these 5 plants I am dealing with have been in their industrial containers for over a year, will you judge me?

OMFG - shut up about the pot you rambling crazy old fool!

So, listen... Hugh and the boys come home today which means I only have a few hours left to loll on the couch, snacking on Mint Milanos (20 mystery pounds anyone?) while catching up on last week's Californication whip this place into shape...

And so I leave you with this: The Story of Sleeping Beauty, as told by EvaJun

She is so shy! How are you ever going to get her to come out of her shell?!?!

Poor Eva

She will always remain in the shadows...in the wings...

She's no performer that one.

The girls' favorite bit was when the prince got make up on...but...

Tor - If the Price didn't know that kissing a girl wearing lipstick could lead makeup transferal, well, it's too late to help him now!

Catholic Runner - I do too... I was just going to send it off to my mother, but thought it was pretty funny!

Judge you? Never.

One of the things I enjoy about spring is getting out and doing my landscaping. One of the things I hate about summer is keeping up with it. And I love fall and winter because there is no yard work to be done.

Love the video. Too adorable!

Sooooo adorable. Her voice is so sweet. Dancing with the Stars??? Narrator for National Geographic???

P.S. How about sanding off some black in small areas and rubbing on any of the other suggested colors?
