An Outlet You Say?

As in, "place to vent/worry/bemoan/wonder".

Well, what about an outlet to be grateful... has it become so cynical that it's bad form to gush about all the good?

I think not.

My husband just told me that I am the most important person in his life... I am amazing and he is sorry if he sometimes lets me forget it...

I am in love.

Now, go kiss someone.

That is so lovely. You know, I once had a pretty well developed idea of starting a blog for just this type of thing. To provide an outlet for the GOODNESS and the LOVE that "is all around." I was going to call it "The Happiness Blog." Maybe it's time to start it.

Daniella - He's just a little dog brat, you know? Always looking for attention. ;-)

Van - I am hoping you meant blog fan and not cooling the air fan...

Nino - The time is now! It could be along the line of True Wives Confessions, only not bitter.

Jill - Not a thing! Hey, wait a minute!

Excellent post, Kristin. It's all a matter of where we put our energies.

And your husband is a very wise man, indeed.

As for your final suggestion, I'm not allowed to kiss anyone other than SSC. Nor would I want to for that matter... ;)

Awww, that's awesome!!!

Last night, we were at a potluck; I was upstairs, the husband was downstairs. I got a text message. When I opened it, it was from the husband, and it said, "I love u too much sometimes."

And then I melted. :)

That is exactly what I'm talking about.

Joannah - He's totally preening over these comments, the stinker!

Ava's Fam - I know!!

Amy - Had those babies yet? ;-p

Joe - Fair enough... SSC is busy getting into tip top shape, I don't want to anger her!

Mel - STOP! Please tell me you've saved the message.

Nino - You are onto something here, when the world is as challenging as it is right now, we need happiness reminders more often.

It's never bad form to talk about what we can be grateful for. I wish it happened on the internets more often.

Since I'm at work, I'll wait until I get home to go kiss someone.

Aw, that's sweet.

And I just embarrassed my husband on my blog. I am a terrible wife. But I'm not taking it down.
