"I'll Be Updating The Photos Daily" & Other Lies...

Please.

Like that was going to happen... best intentions, hell, blah, blah, blah.

I may have been too busy on this boat.

hello 160' sailboat... would you like to take me snorkeling again?

Clearly we are back... and it was amazing.

A.MAZ.ING.

My life does not have a history of major companies inviting me (ok, my husband) on don't-bother-bringing-your-wallet-this-is-all-on-us-even-your-wifi-and-your-swimming-with-the-dolphins-and-all-your-massages-at-the-spa 5 star resort weekends.

But I could get used to it.

Now, moving on.

The new blog look is ready.

READY!

And it will be up any. minute. now.

Internet, I know you're excited.

But, with a new look comes the need for a new blog photo.

Ack!

The boys got MacBooks from good ol' Santa Claus and so I have been sitting here with Jack's trying to snap off a photo from the ever so fun Photo-Booth application.

Santa Claus.
Always gets the friggin' credit.

But, I am not so good at it.

Witness -

Where the fuck do you look into the camera?

Huh?  What's that on my lip?

Well, this isn't right.
Shall I haunt you?

Stay Tuned...

OK....
I have two obvious comments:

#1 Wow....blonde?? Did I miss something? When did you change your hair? You look amazing no matter what. That is very impressive!

#2 Can I be your new best friend or dependent perhaps? *LOL*

A sailing/boating trip? All expenses paid? Where do I sign up?

Patti - I mess with my hair all the time... seriously, I swing between dark brown and super light blonde all year... I am a nightmare!

Love your new look - blog and hair - I am constantly messing with my hair - it is now a lovely freaking shade of jet black - not what i wanted. My sister and brotherinlaw from NY just left and of course had to do something with my awful brassy look going on. Ugh - By the way that was my sis in the hottub pic - the dog all mine :) I loved your word verification.

Daniella - this is just a temporary blog look... hopefully the fabulous one is up next week!

I'm on the look out for the new fab blog - If I liked this one, I'm sure to love the new one - I came back b/c I forgot to write that my son got a mac for Christmas and that photo thing freaks me out - so I had to laugh when I read your post. My son has a way of cutting my head off and twisting it all around - not attractive at all.

Why did that last picture make me simultaneously think, "Ghost Whisperer" and "Whitesnake"?

Ha! I have literally "rolls and rolls" of those kind of shots. I find I can get a good one if I put my MacBook on the coffee table and sit on the floor so I am even with it. The I look straight at the camera at the top of the screen and try not to get distracted by the little white balls on the bottom of the screen counting down. Of course I am doing all of this while trying to stretch my chin out so you can't see my double chin, and not smiling too hard so my cheek don't look like they are going to explode. Fun stuff. Uhhhh....good luck?

You are too funny!

Get one of the boys to help you figure it out because if they're anything like mine, they'll have 'er done in 2 seconds.

ps. LOVE the hair! :)

Shelley said...

Oh sure ...rub it in. And look at you lookin' all MILF-ey! :)

The only problem I see with the Macbook is that you can spend hours looking at yourself and taking pictures. My daughter got one for Christmas and she hasn't come out of her room - other than to show me the movies and millions of movies and photos....

Now I want ONE!!!!!

My smelly Dell not nearly so clever!

oops said movies twice! you get my drift...

That last picture killed me...but I may never sleep again.

Welcome back, though. Glad to see that you guys had a great time.

Joe - I know...I think I may hire myself out as spook... you know, for haunted houses and the like...

I agree with Marisa's hubby ~ you look hot in the haunted picture!
Glad you had a good time... I don't know how you couldn't though, lucky Mama!

You look great in your Photo Booth pix! I look like holy hell in mine. Obviously, I got a defective MacBook.

Well, if you're going to haunt us with a photo, I recommend adding some blood and a knife. I mean, come on, you can do a better job scaring us.

:-)

Love your hair, you look great!!!!!

Kristin said...

Hmmm - I am kind of liking Jen's idea of adding a bloody knife to my profile...

I need one of those company sponsored vacations! My company currently doesn't do anything of the sort - if anything, they watch all the money they spend - a low cost provider ... sigh!

Heh...I always look like a gerbil on those computer cams. Oh, wait, maybe I DO look like a damn gerbil.

I want to sign up for that trip you were on. L-U-S-C-I-O-U-S

It's a vacation toss up - massage or update blog. Really tough choice.

And I like the blonde too, it looks great.

Goddamn lady, you are one smoking hot haunt.

Look at you and your georgous tan and fabulous, "you should be in a hair commercial because really your hair is so amazing it is insane" self!

My husband is DEFINITELY in the WRONG profession! heeheehee
