Holiday - A Movie, Not A Life

Cameron Diaz and Jude Law looking gorgeous and being oh-so very sexy

Have you ever wished that your life came with a screenwriter? Someone who would feed your husband on the line, "Darling, with your hair in that ponytail and those black yoga pants that you have been wearing for 3 days, you have never been more desirable."

And would it be too much trouble to say it in a British accent?

The above photo is a still from the new film, The Holiday, which is the most gorgeous of all girly movies ever. The cast is beautiful. The sets are stunning. The clothing is to die for... even the accessories are of note. Blah Blah Blah.

It is the kind of movie that makes you want to purchase new shoes and embark upon a reckless romance... not come home and find that you must finish addressing the last 23 Christmas cards... a task your husband said he would take care of while you were out (seeing as you have done the other 102).

(Although he did print out very nice return address labels.)

Cameron Diaz and Jude Law are very cute when they are together. They also have very charming and sexy interactions and mother of god, where is my writer?

Because sometimes I need someone to tell me that I am the most interesting fascinating bewitching person they have ever met. And I don't care that they are getting paid to do it.

Hugh and me... not gorgeous, not sexy... why? Because we have no script.
If we did, there would be witty repartee happening and I would have better hair.

And more importantly, who took this photo?

Whatevs. You are SOOO way hotter than Stinky Diaz.
And your man is also hot. Far hotter than Jude-I'm-really-an-alien-from-outer-space-Law.

You are a star couple. I laughed so hard at your pony tail and yoga pants line, because, dude, I am wearing that right now, and have for the last THREE DAYS.

Okay you look damn sexy in the bed pose, don't kid yourself.

Ok..if this ends up being a repeat forgive me..I tried to post and it didn't show up.

Whaaa....?!? You guys look totally hot. But I understand about the lack of repartee and bon mots. I really really really want someone (anyone) to call me delicious and beguiling...Anyway, now I want to see that movie! Sounds like just the kind of brain candy my ailing xmas spirit needs.

Yeah, but how did ultra-gorgeous Kate Winslett get stuck with Jack Black! Injustice!

Oh snap. You're in bed together. I've seen a blogger friend in bed with her husband. I'll have to think about that one.

My husband would be rocking the double chins if we were in that pose, so don't fret. But we do have the repartee down flat. Still, if I had to choose, I'd prefer to not have the double chins. You two are HAWT.

You know, I don't think we're in bed... I think we are on one of those massive overstuffed couches that are many feet wide and deep... however, by the looks on our faces, I can definitely say that we are drunk.

& again? Who took this photo??

I would love a screenwriter and a theme song!

I think you two are so much better than Jude and Cameron-- for one thing you are real and probably happier than those two-- way sexier

You guys are so cute. No scriptwriter needed.

But dude, if hubby would just talk in the british accent, he could get very far with me.

Have a great holiday.

Oh and I just finsihed my last 20 Christmas cards last night. Now if someone would just mail them for me. For Christmas do you think it's too much to ask for a house elf?

What about the time when you were living in Newport Beach and I came for a visit??? (Circa 1993?) We were all sitting out in front of the house drinking and waiting to spark up the BBQ, and I look in the front window and here's what I see: You and Hugh are in the kitchen - You're mixing up somthing in a big bowl, walking around grabbing ingrediants, in and out of the fridge and just talking a mile a minute... Then there's Hugh sitting on a stool, sipping a beer, watching every move you made in such a way that totally showed his affection for you. I swear I've never seen (EXCEPT FOR IN A MOVIE!) a guy so in love with someone that it was written all over his face and in his body language. Yes, that's sexy and very movie-like. I will never forget that moment, I just loved it!

Oh, come ON. You are bee-u-tiful.

When are we doing coffee (read: martinis) anyway?

Law and Diaz ain't got nothing on you two, babe.

But the movie? I liked it but I was far more interested in how fabulous everyone looked.

I think that is a great photo of you two! Yes, I would like to have a screenwriter write in that I will never get sick ever again, as well as my kids.

Being gorgeous and sexy is usually between two people and how they see each other.

(Glinda humming the song...)

You're too sexy for your screenwriter.

That's why you don't have one--you're already haute, haute, haute.

With the right lighting, you and Hugh are totally the new Brangelina. Er....I guess that's Hustin . . or Krisugh . . .or something.

Tomorrow I shall post the scariest photo of Hugh and me ever taken...

Maybe.

Ok, maybe no screenwriter, but how about that theme song anonymous suggested?

It's important not to diminish the value of Hugh printing out those very nice return address labels. I'm sure that was key for you.

Oh please - you two are GORGEOUS and after seeing you in the leopard coat at the Great Wall - I'd say all the men at there think so too!

Thank you so much for the good review - I looked high and low for a bootleg copy in china to no avail. I can't wait for the DVD (you know since I am a new mom and all - ha!!)

You guys are so cute! Whe needs a script anyway, although the 3 mil per film would be nice . . . !

Carrie

ps. my word verification is "nahhh", that's the best one ever!!! ;)

Yeah, good luck. I was hoping that Jack Black would be more realistic, with the burping and farting and gross humour air guitar/real guitar playing?! Tell me he hasn't turned to syrup and traded in his Wrestling tights?! (which would be a good match for your yoga pants!)

And no, I didn't take your picture.

Kristin said...

Jack Black is charming, sensitive and vulnerable...

Not a pair of stretchy pants in sight.

And, not for nothing, Ed Burns and Jim for The Office both have small roles... throw in Kate Winslet and basically, it is a movie of hottness.

You two are a good looking couple!

A screenwriter for your own life, that's a fabulous idea. Also, hair and makeup people, wardrobe, and someone to run my errands for me.

Yes, because all I really want to do is learn my lines and look pretty (for a change). :)

Thank you for the movie review, I was wondering if that was a good movie or not. I just adore Jack Black.

And who said you aren't movie stars? you're both beautiful, charming, and witty, i am just sure of it.
