We Now Return To Our Regularly Scheduled Mindless Drivel...

Um, thinking about changing the name of this blog.

Google searches that contain all or some of these words:

Swingers in Orange County

Public Love

Golden Showers/Urination

Chinese Girls and Panties

And emails like this:

This is ___ 32 yrs. old lesbo. I like ur blog can we talk and meet?

You are hott and you should post more photos of yourself. Would you like to meet in the 3-D world?

All lead me to the conclusion that this is not a blog I want named after my daughter.

I'm thinking Cow and Bridge.

Cow and Bridge is the name of a fantastic Thai restaurant in Guangzhou, China... it is one of those "feel good" memories for my family.

You??? Is it a major pain to change the title but keep the URL?

*** UPDATE ***

Ok, the name stays.

Wow. You get some crazy e-mails, woman! Mine are totally tame. I personally love the name of your blog, but I'm sure you can come up with something else great if you put your mind to it. :)

HA! Very funny! The google searches are too much! I had written a while ago about an enema that went awry that I had to give a patient when I was working as an orderly. After that - all "love enemas" and just horrible, horrible embarassing stuff. I can't believe that you got that email? Does she know that you're happily married and have kids? Do people have no shame? No Kevin, they don't...Why are you asking Kristin? Shut up, who's ever talking to me inside my melon right now.
okay, I'm back from having a fight with myself. I don't know how hard it is to change the title...sorry.

The Google searches are too much. I used to get lots of crazy searches on my "Peanut Pants" blog.

I don't know that there's anymore to changing your title than making the switch in settings, is there?

You don't need to change the URL, just the title (I think it might be under settings once you are logged in at blogger.com. I love your blog name, but am sure that you could come up with something even more catchy.

I've been thinking of changing the name of mine as well...something along the lines of

Everbody Can Just Bite My Ass

but I think that may be a little much.

I do understand about the google searches. I did a post a while back and I entitled it "Pissing and Moaning" because I was bitching about everything (one of those venting days). I get some wierd ass emails I can tell you. Sick SICK people.

I don't know. I guess you're gonna get freaks and weirdos no matter what the name of the blog is (especially with some of the stuff you post about.) I've just learned to overlook the craziness and go with the good stuff, though I haven't gotten anything really weird lately.

On the title, will it make much difference, since you already write about Eva a lot anyway?

Just ignore the idiocy and keep crankin' out that Kristin goodness!

P.S. I am sorta with them on the hot pictures of you, though :P Just kidding! Sort of.

Nah, don't change the name. It is perfect.

Side note... I get anal/ass mom emails related to my blog. Swwwwweet, huh? ~rolls eyes, laughin'~

No problem in changing a title at all. I changed my blog title before... and my URL, too. My old name (before I started using tnchick) and my old blog (before tnchick.com) generated a lot of p0rn type searched.

I wouldn't change just because of searchs - because your content and comments will likely bring in the same searchs because those spiders and bots just pick up random words and put them together.

Let me just say that I am OK with the pick up emails... I am a 36 year old mother of 3 and I take my strokes where I can get 'em! I just don't know if having them arrive in what is essentially my daughter's name is the way to go...

& the Google searches... well, they speak for themselves.

What better way to drive traffic to your site. And come on, you know it's flattering to be hit on by a woman. Our gender has the more discerning taste.

Oh man. Google searchers are nuts.

I personally love your blog name but would still read ya if you changed it 10 times :)

Cow and Bride is a great name. I say do what makes you comfortable. I'll change my links only for you, Kristin!

I really like the title of your blog, and it always puts that Elvis song into my head!

Reason #100 why I don't publish my email address. UGH. I would DIE if I got emails like that. I'm such a PRUDE sometimes. I don't care what the name of your blog is, I'll read it no matter what.

I'm glad you've decided to keep it the same. I like it the way it is, even with the kinky e-mails!

Goodness!

I see your concern but I agree that you are going to get junk no matter what your title.

You should see some searches that come up for Mama. It provides comedy let me tell you.
