Pass the Campari! - Mamarzzi 12/9

original.jpg

Mamarazzi wonders: If the powers that be feel the very lovely (and rather untalented) Jessica Alba needs to be photoshopped within an inch of humanity, what hope is there for the rest of us mere mortals?

Perhaps it's time for fashion editors to just throw in the towel and create Sims-like supermodels to hawk their wares.

Whoa -- that's some major Photoshopping! Check out her legs -- they even made it look like her left leg is over farther. You can totally see more of her right leg in the second photo! That's creepy.

She looks fine in the first photo, so why mess with it?

I always assume that magazine covers and heavily photoshopped, which goes a long way in reminding me that anyone can be beautiful.

Serious Photo-shopping!!!!

I almost can't believe it's the same picture!!!

It's not quite the same picture, but looks like two photos from the same shoot... we're seeing one PhotoShopped halfway to hell and back, and one that was not. But still... sheeeesh....

Yes, they are not quite the same shot... probably a frame or 2 apart, but they give such a clear example of the "work" done... thinner thighs, perkier boobs, smaller waist... considering she looks lovely in the first shot, this is almost criminal.

Definitely 'shopped. And that's just wrong.

That's it. I'm never picking up an iron again. If they want my perky little white strapless shorts jumpsuit to look good, they can just photoshop it.

Poppy,

My thoughts exactly... I am going to start owning rompers and jumpers again... in fact, I may wear one in this year's holiday card.

Wow. Not just the waist and legs, either. There's more cleavage, a sharper jawline, and a more pronounced collarbone as well. And she didn't need any of it.

There is also totally different backgrounds, head angles, and shoulder heights. I'm not saying shot two was not shopped but it's not a remake of shot one. It's not even the same belt on the campy little jumper (God may they please not come back into style...)

Cindy and Co - Yes, it's not quite the same shot, but it's a good example of the Magic of Photoshopping!

There was some Internet debate over the background as well... in that it's all be digitally created to change the effect and feeling of the photo. Who knows. Maybe the belt fell into the same talented pixelator!
