Is This Thing On?

I've missed you! Internet, I dream of you and chatting with you and yet, here I sit, for weeks on end with not a post in sight... call it summer brain, call it getting old (I just had my 38th birthday) call it lazy...

But, in any case, hi. You look great! Did you lose weight?

Did you notice the new look around here?

I am sort of hoping for some help in making it look prettier... maybe a cute chair in the corner? Or new window treatments?

You see, it was time for a change, and although I will miss the days of Eva Las Vegas, it feels right to incorporate all of my life... well, as much of it as a girl can incorporate in a blog header.

Because we're coming off a summer of Jr. Guards and Marine Mammal Camps and weeks and weeks of surfing and a month in Hawaii and man-o-war stings and bee allergies and a broken (again!) pool and scary new school tuition and a wedding (my dad!) landscaping challenges and an ancient dog who needs to be checked for signs of life every single morning...

And that is my life.

It's chaos.

It's full tilt boogie.

It's all just fun and games.
