Hopeful HOPE!

It's an exciting day...

And no matter your choice, seeing record numbers of voters turning out... well, it has to make you proud to a part of this Country and maybe, this election, with all it's drama, will be an end of political apathy and a return to civic responsibility and an active investment of time and thought in our future.

Am glued to CNN...

I am so excited...and I am an alien!

GObama!!!!!

I loved watching him at the polls today with his lovely girls. The older one was yawning and chatting away, he was smiling and chatting to her. He is one of us. I want to have them over for dinner!

Let's just hope the winner actually delivers on his promise of "change," and makes sure he remembers he is working for the people, and not for big corporations and special interests (like our last president).

Los - I have total faith that President Obama (whoot!) will stay true to his vision... but there is also a strong need for us as citizens of this country to get involved and help him bring us back to the great nation that we can be and that we proved last night we want to be.

I'm hopeful the high turnout rate will result in an overall more politically active public. Go Obama!
