You Think?

Many thanks to Lisa (aka Midwestern Mommy) for awarding me a Thinking Blogger Award for this post.

And I really want to thank all of you for your amazing words of support and I loved hearing your own pride in your battle scars... I wish I knew each and everyone of you personally so I could take you for coffee and tell you how much I appreciate you.

AND, did y'all see that Lesely herself commented? Oh, Internet, thou are a small world.

The idea of this award is to sort of keep the ball rolling by linking to other blogs or posts that have (surprise) made you think... so here we go...

Do They Have Salsa In China?

This was the first blog I ever read... in fact, I don't even remember how I ended up at Mary Mia's blog, but I do know that I read it like a goofy pig for weeks before creating my own simply so I could comment!
Mary Mia and her husband, Rod, are the proud parents of twin girls born in China... cutest little things you have ever seen and Mary Mia's posts run the gamut of hysterical, to poignant, to informative and then right back to the funny.
Her blog has touched many people and she is, quite simply, a woman I would someday love to know.

Cease Cows, Life is Short!

So, obviously, as soon as I saw this blog on a blogroll I HAD to follow the link... how could anyone resist that title?!
Nino is one of those women who see the good in the world... she knows she is blessed (with a hunky husband and 3 gorgeous daughters) and, even though she has her trials to bear, she comes across as so full of inner peace and joy, that reading her blog is like a tonic in grace.

Stay at Home Motherdom

I have probably mentioned Jen on my blog before... she is in recovery for alcoholism, a disease that has both cost her a lot and given her as much... reading her blog is like being a fly on the wall of a journey into self discovery. She is brutally honest about herself and I am so full of admiration for her and the strength she has found.

This post could on and on... but, I have limited myself to 3, because that is a happy number.

So, go... shoo... go and read!

I read you over at Mamarazzi but this is the first time I have been to your blog. I have read Jen's blog at Club Mom, but the other 2 are new to me and they sound really worthwhile.
You certainly paid them some nice compliments and I am going to read the post you were awarded for. Thanks for all the good reads today!

You literally define the ethic of paying it forward. I feel empowered for having read it.

The award is well deserved. But looking through your blog archives, it's clear that you could easily have won for virtually anything you've written here.
