Happy Holidays From Our Home To Yours!
(and yes, that is a new dog.... a chihuahua to be exact... we are open to suggestions for names)
*photo taken by my father's girlfriend, the very fabulous and lovely Christine... I am told to give credit where credit is due... especially when many glassed of wine have been consumed.
Whoo hoo drunken holiday blogging!
The dog has been named... please say, "Hello" to "Jones". He is named for James Earl Jones, Jones Black Licorice Soda, and "jonesing" for a chihuahua.
Jones, fyi, is Hugh's dog. Yes, I claim the labs, he claims the small purse pup.

It always works that way, that you get a PERFECT shot after you've sent the cards!!! But those kids look good no matter what!
Have a very Merry Christmas with your aborable brood (including that little bundle in Eva's arms - I'll be thinking of a name)!!!
Carrie
Right back atcha!
Merry Christmas!!
You're right, that would have been an amazing card.
Would you like to know what I call my neighbor's two chihuahuas? Snack and Nibble (as in, no I'm not really hungry. I'll just have a nibble.). :) Aw c'mon, my dogs think it's hilarious.
Merry Christmas!
Hehee!
Beautiful picture of the kiddos and sweet pup.
After a few glasses of wine,uh, only the name 'poopsie' comes to mind and that's beyond lame.
Great picture!
It must be the angle E is holding it, but that dog doesn't look like a chihuahua to me at all! :-). I'm not a big fan of people names for animals, but how about Tiny Tim? It's Christmas after all.
Merry Christmas!
Yep, that would have been a great card - now its part of a great blog!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year right back atcha!
What a happy wee group!! Such a cute little pup - this is going to be a great Holiday time for you guys!! XO
Those kids of yours are TOOOOO cute. Like the doggie too.
I don't think I've ever taken a picture where everyone looked that perfect.
Wow, your family is so beautiful. Happy New Year and lots of good luck in 2007.
I got your card today. LOVE it! Your kiddos are on our "fridge 'o fame"! We'll see you and think of you all each day.
That IS a fabby photo. And that IS pretty funny how your pups are the labs whereas his pup is the Chihuahua!
And the cap coveres the boo-boo quite nicely! Sounds like your Christmas was fun. So happy to hear that.
Can that chinese girl cook? Watch that dog. You know what they say about Chinese,'they cook anything that moves".
That is a GREAT picture! Happy holidays, Kristin!
Anonymous-
You know what else they say about the Chinese?
They'll kick your fucking ass if you ever have the balls to post using your name.
Happy New Year, may a champagne cork hit you in the eye.
too bad you won't get your wish, diet pepsi don't make champagne
I will never understand what pleasure trolls get from leaving rude comments. But insulting a beautiful, happy little girl with a racial slur is a new low. Shame on you, troll. Shame on you.
margaret, I am not a troll and am not a racist. Chinese do eat dogs and she hasn't been away that long to have forgotten that
Hey Everyone-
I know "anonymous"! He is Chinese and fabulous and he meant no harm... in fact, he knew his statement was so outrageous that he felt I would know he left it!
It's ok, this particular anonymous is not the troll we think he is...
I did explain to him that I am very often the receiver of hostile comments and emails, so I immediately assumed his comment was just my daily hater.
But man, did he get my back up (as you can see from my response!)
Yes, Kristin, I had a wonderful holiday, thank you; and as I can see from the drunken blogging so did you.
Deck the halls, all drunk and frothy, fa la la, la la la, la la la.
;)
Good to know. Sorry to insult, non-trolly anonymous commenter!
(I just had a nasty couple on my blog, so my defensive hackles were raised.)
Oh, Margaret, I feel your troll pain! Sorry for the internet jerks... they are always just lurking around, trying to kick us in the teeth and, for the life of me, I just do not understand the jollys.
OOOHH - a purse pup. That means a new purse for the pup.
Chi-hoo-a-hoo-uh's are sooo cute!
Congrats on the "baby"
xo

Beautiful picture! Looks like the kiddos had a wonderful Christmas! I love the name Jones, too.
