I can't recommend a specific restaurant, but unless you like spicy food, ask them to put the sauce on the side!

I can't give any specifis, either, but I love Santa Fe! Lots of art galleries, restaraunts and shopping (not too much of a night life, though) I guess I wasn't much help...

There is a great local fav. called "Tiny's"! I would also reccomend a day trip to Taos.

Definitely go to the La Fonda Hotel for drinks and Celebrations on Canyon Road for either dinner or lunch! The shopping in the plaza is wonderful--especially the Native American jewelry sold on the sidewalk. Santa Fe is great--my parents used to live there!

Have a great trip!

Hmm it's been so long since I was last in NM. I have no idea if it's still there. In either Sana Fe or Albuquerque.. in the old towne section.. a wonderful adobe church and across the corner from it was a wonderful little chocolate shoppe (with hand made goodies).

It's been years, but there's an amazing hotel there (with a great restaurant to boot) called the Inn of the Anasazi. Look into it for sure! But it's hard to go wrong; it's a lovely city. I'm jealous.

Thanks for the nice comment over at my place and for leading me back here. Come back any time, I'll make the drinks.

I *totally* second Johnny's recommondation for 10,000 Waves Spa! You MUST MUST MUST go. Not to be missed -- and definitely splurge on your own hot tub (as opposed to the shared one), they are amazing! (Rats, now I'm jealous...)
